Receiverships:
| In keeping with our philosophy of finding creative solutions for our clients' difficulties, CK has developed an active receivership practice. We are adept at utilizing the receivership procedures available in state court to benefit either creditors or debtors seeking a more efficient insolvency proceeding than the bankruptcy process. Additionally, we work closely with several individuals who can act as a court-appointed receiver, and have broad experience representing those individuals. We are familiar with the Washington statute that was recently enacted and took effect on June 10, 2004, and we represented the receiver in one of the first cases filed under the new statute. |
